I was born into a family of Detroit police officers-turned-small business owners and raised in neighboring Grosse Pointe Park, Michigan. There, I spent seven years learning to play the horn and saxophone. In May I will be graduating from Bowdoin College in Maine, where I developed my passion for language and film, completing extensive study in Spanish, Russian, and Japanese and polishing my technical knowledge of video production and print design along the way.
I am a highly conceptual thinker who loves solving open-ended problems, searching for patterns, and weaving stories together. Most of my free time is spent analyzing documentary films, mining type foundries for sans-serif Cyrillic fonts, and learning to prepare complicated egg dishes (one day, eggs benedict).
